The Minister of Finance, Sri Mulyani, is rumored to be returning to withdraw loan funds to support the climate change agenda.

In detail, the Minister of Finance emphasized that the debt withdrawal will be used specifically for financing related to the energy transition agenda to new renewable energy, as well as adaptation and mitigation towards a green economy.

Two major associations, namely the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the World Bank (World Bank) are ready to provide a pool of funds earmarked for climate management. ADB allocates at least $100 billion for the climate change agenda.

In line with that, the World Bank also made the same statement regarding support and allocation of funds for the climate change agenda. Its just that the World Bank did not promise a nominal figure that would be issued.

"ADB and the World Bank said that they made a commitment to support financing for the climate change agenda, even though they did not come with explicit figures," he explained.

Minister of Finance assesses that the allocation of special funding for handling climate change has a good impact, especially for countries that are committed to achieving zero emission.

For information, as stated in the last G20 Presidency, Indonesia has a commitment of $ 20 billion for the energy transition agenda.

Indonesia has also collaborated with many international institutions in carrying out energy transitions, such as changing non-renewable energy to renewable energy, energy from consumables to environmentally friendly energy.
